We volunteers at Paws and Claws Society were surprised, delighted, and extremely grateful to receive a generous grant award from a donor-advised fund administered by Vanguard Charitable. This grant was issued to PACS at the recommendation of one of their kind and caring donors.
At the request of the recommending donor, we have been asked not to publish any identifying or contact information about the benefactor. We will, of course, honor their wish to remain anonymous. At the same time, we want our special angel to know that every penny will be used to spread their generosity of spirit and kindness to help the helpless!
Thanks to our anonymous special angel, we will expand our Fix and Feed Program to reach additional populations of needy animals and their dedicated human caretakers in our current target area. Bottom line: at least 250 fixed (spayed/neutered) animals will also be nourished with food provided as a result of this unexpected gift.
