Give a Little Bowl of Love: Paws and Claws Society Delivers

2024 unfolded as another year of great economic uncertainty for many animal caretakers and their beloved pets.  Paws and Claws Society continued our commitment to helping caretakers feed their pets.  The need was urgent and PACS again met that need.  Since 2008, PACS commitment to this life saving endeavor insured that struggling pet caretakers received the support they and their animals deserve.  Every year PACS expended thousands of dollars to purchase the food needed to “Give a Little Bowl of Love”.  This year, PACS was able to reallocate some of those funds to address other priority needs facing animals and the people who care about them.  This was made possible because of the following “partnership of caring”.

Many thanks to the Greater Good Charities’ GOODS PROGRAM and their Ambassador at the Bridge Clinic for including Paws and Claws Society as a recipient partner in this wonderful opportunity.

And most of all, we are thankful to our volunteers Deb and Craig and their team because they care so much about their neighbors and their cats and dogs that they are willing to donate their time and labor to “Give a Little Bowl of Love”.  We are truly blessed.

Please note: Greater Good Charities’ GOODS PROGRAM facilitates the sourcing and management of excess, re-branded, and short-dated food and supplies from various donors, including manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. These products are then made available to qualified and approved distribution groups (Ambassadors), who ensure they reach the organizations in need (Recipients).

Paws and Claws Society provided more than     10,000 lbs    in pet food assistance this year at very low handling fees thanks to Greater Good Charities’ GOODS PROGRAM, the Bridge Clinic, and our dedicated volunteers Deb and Craig.
