Paws & Claws, Last week my precious rescued pittie girl, Gem, became mysteriously ill. Dr. Ernst at Parkway Vet Hospital went above and beyond to find out what was wrong with her. After 3 days they offered a transfusion to possibly help her with a very slim chance at survival. At that time she was so critical and I made the decision to euthanize even though the transfusion would be partially funded. It was a difficult choice to make but …
