73 cats and dogs killed every day of the year in New Jersey!

The 2012 statistics are in. The total number of cats and dogs euthanized in NJ per day in 2012 is down from 85 in 2011,  88 in 2010, and 96 in 2009. Of the total number of cats and dogs impounded in 2012 (88,594), 44.07% were adopted and 30.14% were euthanized.
