Letter 10/24/12 from Hali & Cali

Hi I’m Hali and I wanted to tell you a story about all the love Jean and Paws and Claws Society gave me!

My Daddy adopted my sister Cali and I as a Valentines Day gift for Mommy. She was so excited to have us! We were 9 when we were adopted. Mommy noticed that I had a huge lump on my face and when asked my other owners they said it was just an ear infection.So mommy was not too worried since I was always happy anyway. She just continued to give me the medicine the old owners gave me that was prescribed from my doctor. When she took us to a different doctor for a check up they told Mommy it was a Tumor!!!! Mommy and Daddy didn’t know what to do!

They can afford feeding us and taking us for check ups but didn’t have the money for surgery (At that time Daddy just got laid off and Mommy is a full time college student).

That’s when they heard about the Paws and Claws Society. They were the nicest people we have ever met! They paid for the WHOLE surgery and actually called to check in on me to see how I was doing. If it was not for them I probably would not be here now. I want to thank you for loving me and every other animal that is in need. Here is a close up of me that Mommy took (she is not very good with the camera but it will do) and another one of my sister Cali and I!

P.S. Now they are helping Mommy and Daddy get my new sister Lily fixed. We found her in a trash can 🙁 but we love her to death..even though she annoys us 🙂
